Gift art and a new comic
Over the last two weeks, I was in spring break, which means, I had some time to draw. During that time, I mostly worked on two things: Gift art for other deviants and my new Martha Comic. The gift art was partly to give something back for art that I received, partly because I simply loved the idea. Here's an overview of my most recent gift art. I've plans for more gift art in the future. An art trade is also possible. New Martha Comic is coming along The process on my new Martha comic is slow but steadily. This is the current status: Skript - finished Storyboard - finished Titel - finished Page 1 - finished Page 2 - finished Page 3 - in progress Page 4 - not yet started Page 5 - not yet started Page 6 - not yet started For all those transformation afficionados out there: The comic will have serveral transformations and I plan on showing it in various different ways.
The Return of Martha
The last days brought a few things, that can only be described as the return of my genie OC Martha. New Marta comic is comming I had the idea for a comic that is set in the Marthaverse. It will feature all of my main characters, but also characters from a dA friend, who gave me a lot of art over the last half year. Yesterday, I finished the script as well as the story board and started working on the first page. Evil Genies wanted
I'm planing a short comic featuring my genie Martha. The comic will be set in my Marthaverse and will be semi-canonical. For this comic, I'm looking for genies, that are so evil, they shouldn't be let loose on the world. Or more precisely: I'm looking for their vessels, be it lamps, bottles or anything else. If you have an evil genie you want to have locked away safely, I'd be happy if you would lent me that character and their vessel. Please post a link to the character in the comments here. If I add that genie to my comic, I will give you credit and add a link back to your character on the comic page.
February review
It's one month since my last post. During February, work caught up with me again, leaving me even less time for art. I stopped working on my interactive TG stories and couldn't get back into the mood for the last weeks. I might give it another try in the next days if I can find the motivation. Still I was able to finish some artwork. All of it was gift art. The first recipient of gift art is my @confis816. We did several collabs over the last month. I gave him two pictures of his OCs. The next batch of pictures is for a two-page comic, which is a birthday gift too. The first page was posted on the birthday of @EmperorNortonII. The second page will be posted on March 9th, which will be another birthday of a friend. The comic features OC by both recipients of the gift. The third batch are birthday gifts again, this time for @Curia-DD. Again, characters of her appear in the pictures. My contribution is her Superheroine Grey Cat, who appeared in my last comic.
