Arin was tricked into genification. Her boyfriend tricked her so he'd have a genie. Once he made a bad wish that left him as a monkey, she was then at the mercy of fate. She is not malicious. In fact, she rather likes the power being a genie provides. Shakes things up and keeps it interesting. She would just like a good master who makes fun wishes.
