A few hours later, Adam summoned Martha again. She appeared in one of the suites of the hotel. Adam was definitely rich if he could afford such an expensive room.

“I’ve talked to M. Sprüngli. He was willing to sell me your lamp for a reasonable price. You belong to me now.” Adam explained. “And as your master, you will obey any command from me.”

“As you wish, Master!” Martha replied. While Adam walked into another part of the suite, Martha took a look around. The first thing she found was a newspaper with colored markings on the stock market. It didn’t look like anything special, but then Martha realized that the newspaper was dated for the next day.

“And now you wonder how I got tomorrow's newspaper ?” she suddenly heard Adam’s voice. Martha turned around. Next to Adam stood a blond, female genie. She was wearing skimpy, purple clothes that left nothing to the imagination. “Christine, this is Martha; Martha, meet Christine.” Adam introduced the two genies. “Christine is my favorite genie. She’s in charge of my little harem.
Alright, I have to go now. I have a business meeting in town. Christine, you keep an eye on her.” With these words, Adam left the room.

Before Martha could say a word, Christine talked to her. “Listen, you little temptress. If you think you can steal my Adam from me, you’re out of your mind. He’s MY Master.”

“Don’t worry, I’m not interested in your Master. If you don’t mind, I’ll leave you now.” Martha replied and walked over to the door.

“I’m afraid I can’t allow that.” Christine threatened her.

“Are you nuts?” Martha asked. “Let me go and you can have Adam completely for yourself.”

“Didn’t you listen? You are now part of Adam’s harem and I’m in charge of it. You are not leaving!” Christine was now really angry.

“And how will you stop me?” Martha reached for the handle.

“THIS!” Christine yelled and unleashed her magic on Martha. A wave of magic lightning washed over Martha. Quickly Martha raised her arms in defense and concentrated all her power to oppose the onslaught. She surprised Christine with her resistance and Christine stepped back. But it didn’t take long for Christine gain the upper hand again. The magic energy assaulted Martha again, even more fiercely this time. Desperately, Martha summoned all her power to counter this attack – but she just was not strong enough. Christine’s energies formed into a sphere around Martha that trapped the other genie inside. Then, the sphere shrunk down until it formed into a crystal ball. Martha was trapped inside.
With a wicked smile, Christine took the crystal ball in her hand. “Did you really think you could oppose my powers, young genie? You are much too young and inexperienced. But don’t worry. All you have to do is to submit to Adam and me and I will set you free again. Are you willing to do that?”

“Never!” Martha shouted.

“Then enjoy your stay inside the ball.” Christine commented sarcastically. She turned into grey smoke and returned to her lamp.
