Jinn punishment - Part 5B

Martha was at the reception desk, finishing the check-out of a patron, when suddenly the installed phone on the desk rang. To Martha's surprise, her own mobile number appeared on the display. "Please excuse me for a second, Herr Brunnengräber!" she said to the customer.

"Please, go ahead." Mr. Brunnengräber said.

Martha picked up the receiver. "Good Morning, you've reached the Grandhotel Reception."

"Hello, Martha", she heard Sami's voice. "You've left your talking box behind."

Martha smiled. "Thank you. That's so kind of you."

"Can you come over for a moment? I'd like to give it back to you. And tell you something else..." Sami asked.

"I got a customer right now, but I will be over with you in a few minutes. Bye." Martha said.

When Sami had said goodbye too, Martha hung up the phone. She took two sheets from the printer and handed them to Mr. Brunnengäber. "Alright, mein Herr. Here's your recipe and a copy for your employer, as you wished. Have a nice journey home."


When Mr. Brunnengräber had left the hotel. Martha placed a "Be back in 5 minutes"-sign on the counter top and hurried to the lobby. She took Sami's lamp and rubbed it. Instantly, the blue genie appeared. "Hello Sami, thanks for calling me. I really need my mobile phone." She took the mobile phone and put it into her pocket.

"You're welcome, Martha. Listen, I'd like to tell you something more." Sami said.

That moment, the bell at the reception rung. "Sorry Sami, I gotta go now." Martha stood up on her toes. She embraced Sami and gave him a deep kiss. "Sami, I love you. But I have to go now. Keep in mind what you wanted to tell me. I'll be back with you later."
That moment, the bell rung for a second time. "Coming!" Martha shouted and hurried out of the lobby.
