Amelia takes action

Martha was surprised how much the room had changed since she came here for the last time more than three years ago. Back then, a part of the room had been used by Jennifer, who had given it a rather sober decoration: Her beloved books, an art print on the wall, her tidy desk and bed. Now, Cindy had occupied Jennifer's half as well. Posters, a second closet full of party clothes and a new entertainment system had replaced all of Jennifer's belongings. First, Martha was shocked by the lack of compassion Cindy had shown for her sister. But then, the event was three years ago and Cindy wasn't exactly sad about having the room all for herself.
Meanwhile, Amelia had spotted a lava lamp on a cupboard. She took it and showed it to Martha. "Is that the lamp we are looking for?"

"It is!" Martha rubbed the lava lamp. The colorful goo inside began to rise. Suddenly, a tiny figure surfaced from the goo. It was a girl of about 20 years with glasses. Martha instantly recognized her. "Hello Jennifer. How are you doing?"

"What do you think how I am?" Jennifer asked with a tiny voice. "You locked me away in this lamp for the last three years."

"Do you wish to get out again?" Martha asked.

"Hell yeah! Let me out of here!"

"Your wish is my command!" Martha blinked and blue smoke streamed out of the lava lamp. It formed into a human body and soon, the bespectacled girl was standing in front of Martha and Amelia. "Are you happy now?" Martha asked.

"Yay! I'm finally out of the lamp." Jennifer shouted happily. But the next moment, she had a sorrowful expression on her face. "Although, now I'm cut off from my library."

"You humans are surely strange!" Martha wondered.

"Don't get me wrong." Jennifer replied. "I'm very happy to be out of the lamp again. But I liked the library and now, I have to share a room with Cindy again."

Like on cue, the door opened and Cindy came into the room. "What are you doing out of the lamp?!?" she asked angrily.

"Martha was kind enough to let me out of the lamp." Jennifer replied.

"But... that's my lamp. Shouldn't I have a say in that?" Cindy protested.

"I'm not your pet, you know?" Jennifer scolded her sister. "Maybe you should spend some time locked away in that lamp? There's a nice library inside. Some reading would do your grades good, I'm sure. And I could have your room all for myself."

"Really, You haven't deserved such a great room at all." Cindy looked around. When she saw Martha's lamp in Amelia's hands, she quickly grabbed it. "It's time to put you back where you belong." Before Cindy could make a wish, Jennifer reached for the lamp to. Soon a tug of war and an argument between the two girls began.
"Let go!" Cindy cried.
"No, you let go!" Jennifer said.

Now Amelia had enough. She took the lamp from the girl's hands. "Enough you two. I see you two can use the room inside the lamp. But none of you wants to be locked away. I understand that. But how about you had the ability to get inside and outside the lamp at will?"

Jennifer and Cindy stop their quarrel. They listened carefully to Amelia's proposal. Jessica was the first to speak. "If I could leave the lava lamp and return to it whenever I want, I would accept your offer."

Cindy thought a moment longer. "I would keep my room, right? Can I get into and out of the lamp too at will?"

"That could be arranged." Martha said.

Amelia smiled. "Girls, is that ok for you?" Cindy and Jennifer nodded. "Ok, then I wish that Jennifer and Cindy gain the ability to get inside and out of the lava lamp at will. And let them remain humans." Amelia state the wish.

"Your wish is granted." Martha blinked and a silver ring appeared on Jennifer's and Cindy's finger. "If you want to get inside the lamp, just turn the ring. If you are inside and want to get out again, turn the ring a again." Martha explained.

"And if I want to bring somebody else in that room?" Cindy asked.

"That would be possible. All you have is to have direct contact with the person you want to take with you." Martha explained.

"Well. Thank you very much." Jennifer said.

"Yeah, that's a good solution, I think." Cindy agreed.

"Good to hear that. Glad you are not angry anymore." Martha said to Jennifer.

"Actually, I still am. You locked me away for three years. That's like kidnapping. But at the moment I'm only glad to be out of the lamp. Still, I hope to never see you again." Jessica said bitterly.

Cindy took Jennifer's hand. "Come on, Jen. We should go and tell our parents that your are back." Jennifer followed her sister, but she turned around and gave Martha a hateful glance.

"Martha we should go now. Before Jennifer and her parents return. Who knows what they will do if they find us here." Amelia proposed.

Martha nodded. "Good idea."

Amelia took the lamp. "Martha, I wish that you teleport us to the next victim you want to rescue."

Martha blinked and both teleported out of the room.
