New Project: How to make a comic - The story idea

As a new project, I’ll be working on a new comic featuring my genie Martha and two other characters by and  I won’t tell much about the story yet.

But I plan to document my progress in my journal, giving little previews and basically describing  the steps towards the finished comic. By reading my journals, as they progress, you can learn about possible steps towards making a comic. I hope I can help those interested to do their own comics.

First step is to write down the story concept in headwords.

Here's an overview over the story. It will give away all of the story. Be warned.
The Magnificient Martha (Working Title)Martha as a stage magician (green Leotard, pantyhose, green heels, green tophat) asks for volunteers for her next trick.
Denise and Shameka come to the stage
Denise, a teacher, in a grey pencil skirt and blazer, dark hose, heels.
Shameka, a virtual merchandiser, blouse or top, black or grey pants, heels.
Martha asks them, who they are. Then she lays down both of them in two boxes. One Box has red stars on it, the other blue stars. Heads and feet stick out of the boxes.
Martha cuts the boxes in half, maybe with a saw. Pushes the boxes apart.
Martha recombines the boxes, but mixes them up.
Both ladies get out of the boxes, but the lower halfs of their bodies have been exchanged. Both look confused.
Martha announces another trick. She places a large cloth on each of them. When she pulls the cloth away, the ladies are gone.
Applause.
New scene: A beach, Denise and Shameka sunbath in bikini or swimsuit. Their bodies are still mixed. Buth drinking cocktails and cheer.
